My chosen profession is Laboratory Technologist. I work full time and have a teenage son and a juvenile husband(not really). We raise small dogs-Mini-Pins, Yorkies and Mini-Doxies. They are so cute! I love computers and the WEB. So, like I should have better sense, I decided I could learn to design webpages. With gleeful joy I dashed straight ahead into a brick wall, at age 46 I must learn a whole new language!!! Oh! Goody!
I went searching for information on HTML and was totally overwhelmed by the amount of stuff on the WEB about page design. Oh! ______!(You may fill in as desired.) First I did a site for my parents, who do leather and woodworking. I think it looks pretty good, but the more I learn I feel it can be improved. That's the problem with this design thing your never done!
Now you know a little about me. This site is my own personal pet, with things I like to do, read and see. I live in the Texas Hill Country between two lakes. (It's a good thing!) I work a small local hospital(tiny actually) with some great people. All but a few will tell you they think I am crazy. Those other few know it! For better or worse welcome to my house.
Another year goes by at lightening speed. It just seems to go so fast after you past 30. It is the year 2001, I never thought I would make it into the new modern age. Here we are. Yes we are. I am ready for my flying car.
Leaping lizards, 2002! Darn I am getting old. My son is gone away to school. He is only sixteen, but is smart. He is at Lamar University in Beaumont, in the TALH program. We miss him, but he is doing well, 3.75 GPA for the first semester. Sold most of our dogs. We kept a pair of Yorkies.
Still no flying car, a Segway would be okay, if I could afford it!
My kiddo said I need to update this part, I guess he is right since 2003 is almost over. My son is a Junior at Lamar University this year. My parents have moved into my back yard and my husband has come thur cancer and its treatment. We had to sell off the dogs because Jerry's doctors did not want him taking care of them while he was taking ChemoTherapy. He thinking about getting started back soon.
Still no flying car.
