No Rise Angel Biscuits
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 2 tbls lukewarm water
- 5 cups plain flour
- 1 tsp soda
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 4 tbls sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup fat free milk
- 1 cup fat free sour cream
- 1 cup nonfat plain yogurt
Dissolve yeast and one tablespoon of the sugar in water. Into a bowl, sift flour with other dry ingredients. Add yogurt, milk and sour cream, stir slightly, then add yeast mixture. Stir until all flour is dampened. Knead on floured board
a minute, roll to desired thickness, and cut with a biscuit cutter. Bake at 375° about 12 minutes. Dough may be kept refrigerated and used about a week.
